Hello, Minna!

Have you ever wanted to become an officer of a Cal Poly club? Do you want to be involved in the selection of shows that MNA watches? Are you someone who loves this club and is willing to devote themselves towards its continued existence? Well then, it sounds like you should try to become an officer. All prospective officers must click this link and fill out the form to let us know about your interest. Descriptions of officer positions can be found in the form. Keep in mind that this form is binding, and we expect you to run for the positions that you say you will. If you change your mind, please inform a current officer. We will give each candidate an opportunity to give a speech the Saturday meeting we get back from Spring Break (April 4th). Please note that you must be a MNA paid member to vote.

Hello, MNA!

I would like to inform you about our regularly scheduled end-of-quarter events, since a few of you have probably been waiting in anticipation.

Movie Night

On Saturday, March 14th, we will be holding our quarterly Movie Night! Our meeting will start at 5:00 in our sideroom in the business building (03-114) with weekly shows before dinner (Little Witch Academia, Flip Flappers, Haibane Renmei, and Cowboy Bebop in dub™️). At 8:00 PM, we will be showing the film Tekkon Kinkreet.

Also at this meeting will be our quarterly members' giveaway. Paid members who have 7 or more weekly stamps will be entered in a random giveaway, where winners get a reward from our prize box. Be there for dinner break if you qualify.

Goshi

On Sunday, March 15th, we will be hosting our quarterly Dinner at Goshis Japanese Restaurant! Click this link, login to your Minna no Anime account, and sign up/select menu items before 10PM Sunday, March 7th. If you do not have an account, access the Forum tab to the top right of the website homepage to make one. You need an account to reserve a spot and make an order (if you need, contact our webmaster on discord or at sbudwal3339@gmail.com for help). Reservations are first come, first serve up to 25 spots, and as of right now 17 of our spots have been filled. We will be meeting at Goshi at 7pm.

Hi Minna!

We've hit another point in the year where a lot is happening, so I'm here to let you know about multiple things that need your attention!

First, it's time for t-shirt orders! The winning design was developed by Jonathon Skelter, our Vice President. This year we will be doing t-shirt orders through a Google form instead of running it through the website for convenience.

Second, it’s time for our new shows to begin! If you haven't been to club yet or know people who might be interested, this is a great time to come, seeing as you can jump into all of our one-cour shows without prior context!

Last, but not least, we have our Anime of the Decade show this Sunday (the 16th). Our Pre-Show event will begin at 4:00 PM in 03-205 with Trivia, Eyes and Prizes! If you are interested in participating, contact Wesley Deffenbaugh, the Event Coordinator. The actual show will begin at 7:00 pm in 03-213 and should end around 9:00. Please come to whenever you can, as it’s going to be a fun night and we would love to have all of you there.

Now that we have all the submissions for the t-shirt contest, the next logical step is voting!

Click on this link, as it will take you to the voting page. You will need to sign in with your MNA forum information. If you don't have a MNA forum account, go to the website and click on the right-most tab at the top. This will take you to the forum, where you can make your account.

Since we have so many entries, please rank your top 5 entries only. The system will give you the option to rank all 13 of them, but try to keep it to your top 5.

Voting will be open for one week, and we will make an announcement for t-shirt orders when it opens.
