Well, here we are, end of the quarter. Time to say our goodbyes to the old officers and welcome the new.
Andy will be taking over as webmaster. I'm sure he'll probably do a better job the me.
Don't forget the Tsurugi's Dinner if you signed up. Remeber you can't bring anyone you didn't sign up previously.

Ergo Proxy and Noein are ending this week so make sure you don't miss it.

Congradulations to our new officers and to everyone who helped out during open house.
We did really well and you should all give yourselves a hand.

We're having officer elections this week. I encourage everyone to run for some office.
You get to choose what anime to show next year. It's pretty sweet.

| 4/5/08
I hope everyone had a great Spring Break. Remeber Open House is coming up soon. We're still working on the booth Thursdays if you would like to help out.
Also Officer elections are next week. I hope you all consider running for an office.

It's that time again. This quarter our movie will be Satoshi Kon's Paprika.
Sunday will be Tsurigi's. Everyone good luck on finals.

Arg, I missed an update. Sorry about that folks.
I'm still getting used to Otogi Zoshi's new genre. It's still kinda weird.
It's not bad, but I definately miss the old opening song.
Ginko's track record has been pretty bad recently. First couple of episodes he was kicking butt.
He cured death for christ's sake! But recently he's been all "Memory loss? Yeah... I can't cure that."
End of the quarter is coming up soon, which means end of the quarter movie and Tsurugi's.
We're also going to hold elections for new officers in not too long.
I'll be graduating this year so the webmaster position will be open.

We're starting L/R this week. Dokkoida was fun, but I'm ready to start something new.
We're also starting the second arc of Otogi Zoshi. Should be interesting.

Crap. Somehow I forgot to update the webpage last week even though I made all the changes on my local machine. My apologies to anyone who got confused.
Well, last week was pretty epic. We had cliff hangers for Dokkoida, The Law of Ueki, GUNxSWORD, Otogi Zoshi, and Le Chevalier D'Eon.
We also got to learn the origin of Ginko in Mushinshi. Ergo Proxy is getting seriously awsome. Pino is so cute!

Since about half our club members were enjoying their three day weekend and not at club last week, we've
decided to postpone voting on T-Shirt designs until this week's meeting. All you people who missed out
last week will still get your chance to excercise you demorcratic right. Hurray!

T-shirt designs are due this week.

Welcome back everybody. I hope everybody had a great Winter Break. I'm excited about this quarter.
I only have class 2 days out of the week from 8 to 2. Feel free to beat me during breaks between shows.

| 12/1/07
Last meeting of the quarter. We'll be showing a movie like always. This quarter it's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
There is also the Sunday dinner at Tsurugi's for those who signed up. I hope everybody makes it through finals.
I know I'll be dying T__T. Being a fourth year CPE is no fun. I've got so many programs and final projects due I hardly
have time to sleep anymore.
| 11/17/07
This week we are back in the Silo. We're also having a double dose of Ueki to make up for last week's double dose of GUNxSWORD.
On a related note, if anyone hears anything about our stolen property, please let the officers know. For those who missed the announcement,
this quarter's movie will be The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Now for some Dancer vs Baby.

Schedule is way different this week. We're having our Halloween party so come check it out.
Anime, Cosplay, triva, Guilty Gear, and more. You can win prizes too if you're a member,
but you have to cosplay and take part in trivia. Next week we'll be up in Fisher Science.

We have a double dose of Ergo Proxy this week to compensate for the double the lack of Ergo Proxy last week. That means double the Pino!
On a side note, a friend of mine wrote a couple suikoden and fire emblem fan fics that are actually pretty good. Check them out here.

Well damn, that was a busy first two weeks. I still hardly have time to properly update the website, but bear with me. Let's start with a rundown of this year's lineup here.
| 7/13/07
Bit of a mixup on my part. We do have summer meetings Saturdays at the silo. 5-6 is MNA social hour with the rest of the evening showing anime. Show scheduals aren't really announced ahead of time, so you'll just have to come and see what is playing.
| 7/8/07
No officail club meetings for the summer. Stay tuned for Fall quarter's schedual.
| 6/9/07
Well, another quarter comes to a close. We've had some great shows this quarter, and it looks like we'll have another great lineup next year, too. For the end of the quarter movie, we'll be showing Origin ~Spirits of the Past~. Remeber, Ayatsuri Sakon contest entries are due before the dinner break. Speed Grapher contest winners will also be announced. Good luck everyone on their finals.
| 5/23/07
No official meeting this week due to Fanime. Brian (not me) will be showing something though. I'll be Heading home for some awsome lan party action with my highschool buddies this weekend. Enjoy your Monday off!
| 5/15/07
We've got a lot of shows ending this week, so make sure to not miss it. Next week is Fanime, so most of the officers will be at that. I'll be out of town that weekend, but someone should be around to run MNA.
| 5/1/07
I apologize for not updating the schedual last week. Midterms and whatnot. Thanks to everyone who helped out at Open House. You can download some photos here.
We've finally got the last Honey & Clover disk, so the schedual should be back to normal. I can't guarantee the acuracy of the episode numbers at the moment.
| 4/18/07
No meeting this week. Instead, come help out at the MNA booth for open house. Help out for an hour and you get to eat free. Plus you can check out the Going Marry booth setup.
| 4/7/07
Sorry for the late update. Hope everybody has a great new quarter.
| 3/16/07
End of the quarter movie. Woo! This quarter is the first Detective Conan movie. Good luck to everyone on finals.
| 3/9/07
Wow, so I've been like really sick for over a week. Didn't help that I had so much work to do this week that I got virtually no sleep, but it's over now. Hurray!
Jen and Analise both had bithdays this week, so we're having a bit of a bithday bash at minna.
| 3/1/07
Meetings should now be in the silo until the end of the quarter. Hurray!
| 2/21/07
Fisher science again. You know the drill. Hopefully this will be the last time all quarter.
| 1/30/07
We're not metting in the silo this week. We'll probably be in fisher science, but double check the yahoo group to make sure. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Ayatsuri Sakon start this week so don't miss it.
| 1/30/07
Is it just me, or is anyone else totally rooting for Duck and Fakir to get together? Rue can have Mytho. Anyway, we've got the final episodes of Mermaid Forest and Vandread, so don't miss it.
| 1/26/07
Were voting on T-shirt designs this week. Bring in your desings in some sort of digital format if you can (i.e. jpeg, giff tiff, ect.)
| 1/15/07
Welcome back everybody. The T-shirt design contest is in 2 weeks, so get them done soon.
| 12/8/06
This is the last MNA meeting of the quarter. We're showing Brave Story which looks super special awsome so don't miss it.
| 11/29/06
| Back to our regularly schedualed schedual, already in progress.
Hope everybody had a fun over their break. We're back in the silo.
| 11/22/06
No meeting this week. Go Home and eat turkey. Next week we should be back in the silo.
| 11/16/06
Okay everyone. We are meeting in Fisher Science AGAIN. Hopefully this will be the last time for awhile.
I'm glad people enjoyed last week's showing of Kannazuki no Miko for the Fansub. It has the best first episode out of any show ever.
You have to give them credit; it's not easy to fit every anime cliche in the same show and still try to be serious.
The sad thing is once you get past all the fanservice, it's actually got a decent story... about lesbians. Hurray!
| 11/10/06
| Meeting in Fisher Science again.
Remember everyone, we are meeting in Fisher Science building for the next two or three weeks. Hopefully we will have the big lecture hall next time.
| 11/2/06
Hope everyone had a great Halloween. If you missed the Halloween party, you missed out on some good stuff. I even cosplayed, which is something I thought I'd never do (no offense to cosplayers, it's just not my thing). Congratulations to our prize winners.
I now present you with one of my favorite internet comics:
Dr. McNinja

Check back here later for the Halloween party schedual for this weekend.

| Meeting in the Fisher Science building.
Hey everybody. MNA meets in the Fisher Science building this week. I believe the room is on the ground level towards the inside of campus. I don't know which room for sure though. Just look around and you should be able to find it.
On a side note, I've been extraordinarily busy. The kind of busy that makes you want to stab yourself in the face to distract you from the pain. If not for the MNA meetings, I probably wouldn't do anything besides work the entire week. So, if I seem a little tired and flakey, give me a break. This is by far my hardest quarter ever and it doesn't help that I have a whole lot of extra responsibilities. I'd write a full blown rant in the rant section about how busy I am, but I'm too busy to do that right now.
Okay, I just had to get that off my chest. Now, for the weekly link of interest. It's one of the best AMVs I've seen, and it's about lesbians. Huzzah!

| 10/12/06
The update is a little latter than I hoped this week.I've been really busy with all sorts of work, but it doesn't take that long so I really have no good excuses.
I don't really have much to say this week. So I'll just give you something good. For anyone who hasn't seen it, here's cosby Bebop.

Well, the year is off to a great start, and now comes my first abuse of
my almighty webmaster powers. I also happen to be the instructor for the Akido class at the Cal Poly gym. If anyone is interested in joining up, come talk to me or drop by the martail arts room on Sunday at 2:30pm.
Okay, now back to things anime related. Here's an amusing little clip for anyone who has seen the craziness that is the last couple of episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Welcome everyone. Greetings to all the Freshmen and new MNA club members. My name is Brian for everyone who doesn’t know me, which is probably most of you. I’ll be taking over the webmastering (quiet, it’s a real word) for Stephen, who did a great job last year.
We’ve got a great lineup of shows this year. Here’s a quick overview:
Fansub of the Week: Every week we show the first episode of a different show. Personally, I think this is great because you get to preview new shows that you might not of heard about before.
Honey & Clover: Honestly I don’t know too much about this one yet. It’s a story about a bunch of poor college students. Seems mildly appropriate.
Vandread: A show with lots of action, mecha, and fan service. It can’t possibly be bad.
Kyou Kara Maou: The misadventures of Yuuri continue. This show is hilarious as long as you’re not put off by the hints of boy-boy romance. Hey, the girls need their fan service too.
Mai HiMe: Mecha, schoolgirls, and the promise of lesbians. Huzza!
Princess Tutu: Sort of a cross between a fairytale and magical girl anime. It actually looks pretty interesting.
Heat Guy J: Another good action series. An officer of a special crime unit shoots things with the help of his android partner.
Gankutsuou: A retelling of the story of the Count of Monte Cristo. Looks pretty dark, gritty, and totally awesome.
Mermaid Forest: From the creator of Inuyasha and Ranma. Yuta and Mana have become immortal from eating the flesh of mermaids. Mmmm… mermaids.
Speed Grapher: Another of our darker shows. A guy kills things by shooting them… with his camera.
We’ll that’s all. Remember, if you sign up as a member you get access to the club’s library, and you get special member discounts.
